Dimensiones FW 2015
This proposal FW 2015 takes up the work of the Balenciaga house in the 50s where fluid lines, curves, drapes and volumes are present. The color palette is composed of French blue, red, white, black, pink, gray and light blue. The materials used were created by a group of weaving artisans from the community of the "Matagalpa". This is a cooperative of self-sustainable women, who keep their traditions alive through the work of handmade yarns.
The prints of this collection were inspired by the pictorial works of the Nicaraguan plastic artist Leonidas Correa.
In the search for a unique touch Lacayo and Correa created miniature sculptures in the form of purses. This element definitely gave the collection the eccentric print that identifies each of Lacayo’s collections.
